We had Edu K play Contort Yourself way back in October 2008 as part of the Roadhouse’s 15th Birthday weekend along with Buraka Som Sistema which let me tell you was a BIG night. He was one of the nicest guys we’ve ever had on and truly put on a show, our highlights include some track with the word “Penis” repeated over and over again that freaked everyone out, smashing hi head off the celing and then falling off the stage… good times!

Anyway over the past year Edwardo has stepped up his sound to something that seems more Berlin than Brazil. Fusing that oh-so-cool Tech House sound with his native Jackin’ Baile Funk its hard not to use the word Tropical in describing where he’s going.
