Four Tet. Yes.

Kieran Hebden has been doing it for years. A former member of Fridge (well worth a listen) who enjoyed cult success in the late 90’s on Trevor Jackson’s now sadly defunct Output label, he started releasing music as Four Tet in 1998.

Today sees the release of his 5th full length studio album, ‘There is Love In You’. So to get you in the mood, here’s some of his finest work, including one of my all-time favourite remixes, a track from his recent collaboration with Burial and the EPIC lead single from TILIY.

Ranging from the ‘aqua-crunk’ of Rustie, Space R&B from Missy, the floating ,dreamy pop of Animal Collective to stripped down nagging minimal of Robert Hood interlaced with Uk Garage and god knows what else, all glitched, chopped and screwed to absolute perfection.
