I went to see Pantha Du Prince supporting Four Tet at Now Wave last night and was blown away…

His album BLACK NOISE is awesome and its been getting some heavy rotation but i wasn’t ready for it live. Starting out fairly mellow but then his whole performance built and built, and by the end felt like i was in a deep dark Berlin Warehouse rave rather than the Manchester Uni Cafeteria? Regardless this hooded spectre conducted all manner of machinery at his disposal and captivated the crowd.

I cant urge you enough to go and check him out if you get the opportunity, but at the very lest you need to go and cop the album, essential listening.
